Vintage Shop: TGM

I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW that was it was unhealthy being stuck here in this country during summer break. But on the bright side, TGM was another one of those little corner vintage shops in the midst of scorching hot Manila, away from the flagship stores and inevitable crowds. I had been looking for an old-school records known as "vinyl" for quite some time now; I have a friend that loves indie music and vintage stuff. Music Albums of similar genre as ranged from around about 1400 (35 USD) to 2000 (50 USD). It's kinda expensive. I'm really looking forward to buy at least 5 albums. Mhm..

Below are the albums that are available. Only got a few from their site, though.

Five Things

Current guilty pleasure: Books!

Love collecting these lip balms.

Muji

Ever since I was a little girl, I’d stock up on all sorts of stationery. And I’d keep them in a box that unfolds into a mini desk with drawers! I also collect notebooks with pretty cover designs.

Cartier love bracelet

I'm so in love with these bracelets, probably because the Kardashians/Jenners wear cartiers, lol. It's kinda expensive, though. I'm really looking forward to buy the love ring with matching pandora charm bracelet. Ah, lovely!

Ferrero Rocher (self-explanatory)

Photo Diary: Asteria 2013 (b&w)

LAST MONTH, my friends and I wento Asteria 2013 held in our school and here's a collection of photographs I took of that night (or not). I know it's a bit late, but it's best that I showed you guys what went down that night from my perspective. Wild dance party, food, live music, etc. - it's safe to say that anything could've went down that night. Another big ups to the organizers for such a good night!

Your evil twin (Tracianne and Trasienne)

I'm trying to get my artistic endeavor up and that includes looking through potential photos. What I love about photography is the ability to tell a story without the use of words. They say a photo is equivalent to a thousand words and it's obviously true! The simpleness of a single photograph could be seen as dull, beautiful or even ugly. Significant or meaningless. It's just funny how life works it's basically one big domino effect?

Anyway, going back to what I was saying, inspiration; it's actually everywhere. I have stumbled upon Your Evil Twin a year or so ago, and I immediately fell in love with the vignette, grainy feel. the photographs are effortless, but gratifyingly pleasing to the eye. Almost as if their photos have come out straight from an editorial, wow!

Candy Fair 2012 photo diary

My friends and I went to the Candy fair last September 22, 2012 at Megatent Event Venue, Libis.  Candy Magazine has been a part of my top magazines next to Vogue and J-14. At first, the thought of going didn't really cross my mind. As the months inched closer, I found myself having moments of throwbacks. Of course Candy fair isn't complete without the so-called Candy Cuties, celebrity performances, food booths, etcthe Paras brothers, Andre and Kobe didn't show up in the event so my friends and I found ourselves disappointed. But overall, the evenwas amazing to say the least. Actually, amazing is an understatement.
